Is this enforced? My mom and I are going tomorrow for a 9:20pm reservation for drinks and/or apps and aren't planning to be too dressed up or down, probably jeans, nice tops, and maybe flip flops or sneakers that aren't dirty or nasty. Will they let us in like that?

Flip flops and sneakers are not against the dress code. If you don't look like you just came from the pool you will be fine.

I think it is a joke how Disney says there is a dress code and I have seen people in inappropriate outfits in signature restaurants. Maybe V & A enforces but no where else. I wouldn't worry about my clothes. I would worry about FF the most uneven signature restaurant. We have had horrible experiences there our last two times, from seating to the food. We have taken it off our list. Hope you have a better experience.

I second this!! Finally seated 35 minutes after ressie and I had mild food posioning. The "dress code" is laughable sometimes...there was a "gentleman" who looked like he just stepped off a deserted island :scared1:!

The dress "code" is usually enforced--as to the very short list of what is expressly not permitted in the restaurant.

What the OP proposes to wear is not on that very short list, so there will be no problem.

FF is one of my top 5 Signature spots at WDW--we eat there every trip. Try seating at the bar. Exxcellent bartenders and you can order apps or even a full meal.

I agree. I think the dress code is enforced, it's just that there is not much of a dress code. I don't usually see people in the restaurants wearing things that are prohibited by the dress code.

And the only prohibited items are torn clothes, cutoffs, swimwear, and hats/tank tops on men.

Thats a mighty short list:):)
