Flyglobespan using 737??????

So what exactly is the "Half truths & Conspiracy theories"?
Scaremongering? has Globspan Not used 737 800's on its Sanford run then?
Have we all not said phone Globespan?
Have you not read the responses from people who have done just that?
Have you bothered to read the other reports on forums dedicated to aviation, a topic thoie people know a lot about?

I think you will find that its precisly the fact that people have contacted FlyGlobespan and have been messed about instead of being given the correct information good or bad, that has caused the problem.

Ranger 1873 Weve spoken on the phone three times and emailed three times including a direct one to their managong director . No response from any email and no sense from any phone calls.
If pilots are saying nothing good about them and the company themselves are saying contradicting messages and their customer service is non existant it does not fill you with faith:surfweb:

Hi sammyteach,

I've called called Globespan a couple of times after reading reports both here and on a UK site and found them very helpful.

The supervisor I spoke to was most understanding with regard to the situation I'd be in if I were not to get what I thought I'd booked and was upfront regarding the changes they had made.

Looking forward to travelling with them again.

An interesting thread that sums up some of the dangers of the web, i.e. full of half truths and conspiracy theories.

I'd urge anyone who has any concerns regarding their flight to contact Globespan directly and ask specific questions about their own flight, rather than react to the scaremongering going on here.:scared1:

My problem is that I know someone who has been lied to over the phone, whilst asking specific questions, on more than one occasion by Globespan. The truth only came in a letter the day before their final payment was due. They could not change their plans to suit Globespans so ended up with a major panic until something else was sorted.
I now dont know whether to believe what I am told or not.

My specific question was "If I am put in a business class section with 38" pitch will I be compensated"
The specific answer was "NO"
I have paid for 50" pitch and if they cant deliver they should at the very least partially compensate.
 

I hope all goes well for you Ranger ,:thumbsup2 as it happens we have managed to get virgin for much less than our original price with globespan and manchester is much better for us. Heres hoping that everyone has a smooth non stop flight to florida this season whoever they fly with.
