Flu symptoms.....

My DD is suffering from chills, a fever of 102 and an aweful headache. She was diagnosed last Thursday with an ear infection and has been on antibiotics since. Could these be symptoms of her earache or could she have the flu? I plan to take her back to the dr in the morning just to be sure.

I would have her checked again just in case.. For some reason, the headache doesn't sound right to me - and if the ear infection was the only problem, I would think that the antibiotic would have kicked in by now and made her feel better, not worse..

My granddaughter had those same symptoms last week , only lasted 24 hours then she was all better. Hope yours is feeling better soon and that it is nothing serious.

Swine flu is sweeping through our school. Headaches is something that has been mentioned often. For the most part, luckily, the kids are not feeling too bad.

Could be a flu, but those could also be symptoms that the antibiotic hasn't helped and the ear infection is getting worse.

I would also think flu since the antibiotic doesn't seem to be working. Hope your DD is feeling better soon.
