flower colors?

I'm having an intimate wedding and have known that I want the bouquet of roses, but I'm not sure what color!

First of all, I haven't really decided on my wedding colors yet.. I know, I know.. how bad of me! I'm kinda deciding between two color schemes:

white (obviously), light pink, and light green

or

white, and two shades of blue.. a light aqua-ish blue and a darker blue.. more like the ocean. haha. I know what the colors look like in my head, I promise!

so if I went with the first color scheme I could do pink roses with a green satin ribbon around them.. but for the second scheme, what would I do? I thought maybe white roses with a blue ribbon? I dont' know!?

what colors are the roses availabe in? does anyone have any idea?

I am partical to the first colors. I can tell you that I put some yellow roses in my bouquet and loved how it turned out. Also some light green ones. Well not roses. Maybe go to a floral shop and play with roses together and see wat you like.

When I was picking out wedding colors, I went to the home depot and picked out paint color samples. Also, looking at ribbon colors at the craft store will give you a better idea of color combinations.
As for roses...I'd ask your florist...I think roses come in all kinds of shades!

Mine stayed in the pastels for the wedding and reception. Here is what my bouquet looked like. My bridesmaids had blue hydgrangeas (sorry about my spelling) and cream roses.

I like the variety of flowers in my bouquet. I really wanted something else like the calla lilies to add variety.

We wanted to go with dark, elegant, formal'ish' colors The main color was deep red with champagne and gold accents. I had a bouquet with black magic roses and calla lilies. We carried that theme throughout the ceremony and reception with our centerpieces, etc.!

Ooh, do you have a pic of that bouquet? I am thinking of adding a black sash to my wedding dress, therefore having a black and white theme. I was originally going to have just white cala lillies but this sounds gorgeous.

Summer-Caitlin, my friend had a bouquet of black roses and they were gorgeous - she had swarovski crystals in her bouquet too and it was the most beautiful bouquet ever. So glamourous!!!

Does anyone have a picture of this black bouqet or a bouqet with black in it. The crystals sound gorgeous. White calla lillies, black roses and swarovski crystals would be gorgeous!
