WE ARE GOING ON THE 7 DAY EASTERN CRUISE IN NOVEMBER AND WE ARE TAKING OUR 2 1/2 YEARS OLD GRANDDAUGHER. HAS ANYONE LEFT THEIR CHILD IN THE FLOUNDERS REEF CARE CENTER. WHAT ACTIVITIES DO THEY DO WITH THEM IF ANY, AND DO THE CHARACTERS COME INTO THE ROOM? THANKS FOR ANY INFORMATION.

We used flounders on a couple evenings after dinner so we could enjoy the shows without distraction to us or others. Our ds was 2 1/2 at the time. There are CMs there to play/interact with the kids. I didn't hear of any characters visiting. There are plenty of toys to keep their attention and there is always a video going.

Realize that you will need to sign up for when you think you may want to use it in advance.....usually before the ship leaves port. The nursery is not open all hours, but plenty of time to choose from:Sat 6pm-12am
Sun 1pm-4pm and 6-midnight
Mon 1pm-4pm and 6-midnight
Tues 7:30am-1pm and 6-midnight
Wed 7:30am-1pm and 6-midnight
Th 10am-1pm and 6-midnight
Fri 1pm-4pm and 6-midnight.

Be sure to feed you GD before you put her in there...they only have crackers to snack on. Send a sippy cup. Reservations are a minimum of 2 hours. If you need to cancel a res. give them 4 hours notice. Cost is $6 per hour.
Just a heads up........your GD may surprise you and really enjoy Disney Dreams, so don't miss that show.

Enjoy
