DH and I have annual passes. DH's parents are coming into town and I looked up the price to get a 3 day hopper pass and didn't realize how much it would be. As Florida residents can we purchase discounted tickets for family who live out of state without it breaking any rules? I don't want to break any rules or anything, I just didn't know if Disney offered this to either their AP holders or Florida residents.

Sorry, you won't be able to do that. Your inlaws would have to show proof of residency to be able to get a Florida ticket.

I just didn't know if Florida residents, or FL AP holders could buy a certain amount of FL discount priced tickets for family or anything like that.

What stinks is we actually know a few CMs who would normally be willing to use their guest passes on them, but they won't be working then.

The best you can do as far as discounted tickets (other than UCT or another discount ticket site) is if you are eligible for military perks than you can purchase tickets through MWR/ITT at discounted rates. As far as FL residents buying discounted tickets for non-FL residents, sorry there aren't tickets like that.

Florida Resident tickets are only available to actual Florida Residents and cannot be purchased for out-of-state family or friends.
*
An adult Florida Resident may purchase Florida Resident media for more than one Florida Resident from any location that provides an exchange certificate and not an actual ticket.
*
Children under the age of 18 are not required to provide proof of Florida residency if they are accompanied by an adult with valid proof of Florida residency
*
If the Guest has an exchange certificate, a valid form of Florida ID will be required when the exchange certificate is redeemed for the actual pass
*
One ticket only per valid proof of Florida residence (a Florida resident may buy tickets for minors in the party)

Exchange Certificates may say:
"After sale..., may not be transferred except as a gift." This means that the certificate may be given as a gift, so long as the recipient meets the defined Florida residency criteria.
*
"Purchase and redemption of this exchange certificate requires proof of Florida Residency."

-- The following items are the only documents accepted as proof of Florida Residency:

* Valid Florida State Drivers License
* Valid Florida State issued ID Card with Florida Address
