I saw this thread and had to post. . . I also have curly hair. Thick, curly, frizzy hair. In Florida, however, if I put enough leave in conditioner in it, it curls pretty nicely. I consider FL one state in which I have good hair. I straighten it at home, but in FL I'm a curly girl all the way. Take the conditioner with you into the parks and you'll have defined curls all day! 

At home it's silky soft and totally non-frizzy 99% of the time, but here it's stiff and flyaway at the same time!!!
I just do the best I can with washing the night before, blow drying, and not using any products on it, because the buildup just gets worse and worse by the day when I do that. I wish I could figure out a better way to deal with this hair issue!!! 
monica hair......smile, nod and try not to directly look at the 'fro. And advert the eyes of youngins, dont want to frighten them.
