Hi All,

I was curious to know from those who have traveled with kids on jetBlue if your kids have been able to get a tour/visit of the Flight Deck from the pilots? I've heard of some airlines giving tours for kids either before/after a flight, but any info would be great.

Thanks!! :) :) :)

I don't think Jet Blue offered a peek to my son, but DS has been invited in to look twice in the last few years. I know that one was on Alaska, we got a great picture of him sitting there in the left hand seat (not sure whose seat that would be) wearing his Peter Pan hat from Disneyland...

There are some who think that this isn't done anymore but it absolutely is/can be. Just depends on the pilots you have that day, and their schedule!

Last June on our flight home to Boston our 5 yo DS was invited to tour and meet the pilots. We were approached by the attendant during the flight with a keepsake from the flight for our son and then invited to meet the pilot in the cockpit after the flight. He was thrilled! I will try to post the picture.

Go ahead and ask if they do not offer. Heck, I even ask to visit the cockpit from time to time. Have the pilots show me the proposed flight path, alternates along the way, etc. :)
