I've been looking for a couple of months and cannot find deals to either of the destinations we are looking to fly to from upstate NY.
I guess we need to be patient and wait.....I need tickets to Cleveland in May and Orlando the end of August.Gee,I sure hope they come down a little bit!

If you can check out Air Tran, they run deals during the week (seen them starting Tuesday evenings and ending near the weekend). Sometimes the planes are at odd hours, but if you don't mind early/late flights I've seen them as low as $69.

We got round trip on Delta from BUF to MCO for 186.40, which is down from the 220 that we paid last year for roughly the same time. I have found Delta to be consistently cheaper than the others for the times of day that I want to fly.

Word of warning...I just booked 8/15-8/18 Sat on Song. This is from Boston to Orlando. I got a rate of $568 for three people. The next day (Sun afternoon) I checked and the cost increased by $60 total. I almost put off booking them figuring I had plenty of time (granted there were flights available at the rate I had but the times were not what I wanted).

Same here! I am flying out of Newark, NJ. I had some flights saved to watch the price. The prices stayed the same for quite a few weeks and then all of a sudden increased. I booked my flights today because I am afraid they will only increase further now, especially since all the talk about the cost of gasoline in the summer.

OK so this quote is under $200 r-t per person, which is a good deal under any circumstances. And they didn't raise prices on your flights to spite you, they had simply sold all of the cheap seats, and had gone up to the next level on the flights you wanted. The ways Song's pricing system works, those seats are never coming down in price, unless someone who booked one of them cancels. Looks like you may end up with SWA or JetBlue, either of which is an attractive possibility, and likely a decent price too.

If you guys are going to Disney in June, try Spirit or Northwest out of Tampa. Only a 1 hr 45 min drive could save you hundreds. Also rental cars seem to be cheaper in Tampa.

Debden...when you say Upstate do you mean Syracuse???
If so you should check out Delta. I booked a trip for July for $118.90 r/t. I have never seen it lower then that.

HELP!!!! I am booked on delta song for $329RT/person 4/16/04-4/24/04. I did the travelocity search and it says the fares roundtrip on Delta were as low as $103RT from Hartford. My departure date was sold out-of course because I already paid for tickets. Will Delta reimburse like SW is? or at least issue credit???

Hi Lori-n-NY,I saw those fares out of Syracuse and they are great but I am 3 hours east of Syracuse. I fly out of Albany,New York.
Right now the fares are that low out of Albany thru June 17th. Unfortuately I need them for August 30 to Sept.3rd. I was thinking of taking advantage of those great low fares and take a trip down in June but it's just too close together. I'll keep my fingers crossed and hope they go down again for August.

dpratt68,I feel bad that you paid so much for your tickets! Why don't you give Delta a call and see what they can do for you??
Even a Credit for future travel would be good!

I am in Buffalo but with Family in Syracuse, I booked out of SYR for Aug 25-Aug 30 at the $118.90 Delta rate, best I have yet to see.

Last August, booked in early may on Southwest out of Buffalo at $135 RT for non-stop flights. I would wait about a month to see what Southwest comes up with for summer specials. Sometimes can get them around $59 each eay to Florida.
