Flew NWA today 8/21

We just walked in from NWA flight 425 from MCO to DTW and experienced NO delays or poor service. As a matter of fact, it was one of the smoothest of the 13 flights I have been on since June!

We landed at DTW, headed to baggage pick up and avoided any picket lines.

All in all we had NO disruption in service!

I am pleased to hear that. I fly NWA all the time. I have to fly out to Denver in 3 weeks and am booked on NWA.

That's great that you had a good flight, the real test will be tomorrow (Monday) when NW will increase it's flights by 20 %. Hopefully things will stay as smooth.

We also flew today from MKE to DCA - however our flight was run by Pinnacle airlines, which was NOT affected by the strike.

We noticed picketers at the airport at MKE and also noted one flight from Minneapolis canceled.

For what it's worth, they took FOREVER getting the jetway to the plane when we arrived at DCA and it was not busy at all at the terminal. But I doubt that had anything to do with anything.
