I've had several friends both online and in person ask for instructions on the no-sew blankets, so I took some pictures while I was making DH's blanket last night and just put together a webpage showing the process step by step if anyone's interested.

It has about 30 pictures to go along with the instructions.

Thank you so much! I read the one with the cats and, I didn't think I could do this but, you've really spelled (and pictured) everything out that, I think even I can do this!

These would make very nice gifts here in Chicago and, to choose the size you want, how nice is that?! :)

Thanks for taking all that time and, sharing your pics, too! Nice blankets!

DW made one of these things and they are awesome...The girls fight over it...:smooth:

Thank you so much for your time and effort in showing how these are made.

I love the kitties helping you! It is a wonder you got it made at all! LOL
(I like the pic with the kittie sticking his tongue out!

The blankets are great!

Thanks for posting this Rajah. Makes me think even a 'craft impaired' person like myself could do this...

I made one of these a few weeks ago but I didn't do the slit thingy. I just tied both pieces of fleece together. It turned out good but your pictures look neater. I think I will try it your way for the next blankie. Thanks.:D

Rajah,

Thank you so much for the picture tutorial (including the kitties :) ). I already have Christmas gifts lined up, but I really like this idea for the future, or I might just add some.

This is really great!!

Something I don't think I included was an approimate work-time. The first blanket I did took me about 4 hours, but that's because I was pinning safety pins about every 3 inches, which took forever since the pins didn't want to go through the fleece.

This time, with just the pins in the corner, and having figured out the 3" and 2-3" fringe don't have to be exact, it only took about 2 hours. So they're nice gifts, easy to make, and even pretty quick. Longest part was finding the fleece. :)

Thanks, I may make one for my grandma...she is so hard to find a gift for , she has everything...except this blanket!;) :D
