I cant find any information if you have to purchase these tickets online or can you bring your proof of residency to the gate and purchase your tickets there? Please help because if I need to mail away for them, I need to do it yesterday! Thank you!;)

You can purchase them when you arrive with proper proof of residency. We got ours when we arrived at the hotel last trip.

However, if you want to book FP+ before you go, then you should buy your tickets in advance online, and then pick them up at will-call.

Under "Parks and Tickets" on the Disneyworld website, there is a section for tickets, and under there, there is a link for Florida Resident tickets.

Even if you buy it online, they only send an exchange voucher, and you still have to show proof of residency.

As soon as you buy it online and link it to MDE, you'll be able to schedule FP+ without physically having the tickets/ exchange voucher

How does that work with Magic Bands? We bought our DD tickets online to do FP+. When we receive our Magic Bands, do we still have to bring our physical cards with us to Will Call for them to link to our Magic Bands??

I'm not positive, but on my exchange ticket paper,it says to bring the certificate (plastic card) to the ticket booth with proof of Florida residency.

I think they may have a way to retrieve the tickets when you link it to MDE but you're making it a lot easier (read: faster) with the physical card.

Maybe someone else can confirm... I will find out next week when I am there :)

I can't remember if we had to have the physical cards with us, but we did have to have the tickets linked to our Magic Bands at Guest Relations. (System was down when we checked into the hotel, so had to wait in line the next day.)

If you have a voucher number--you should be able to attach that to your MdE account which will link it got the magic bands.

This is how it worked for our APs. We also had a paper print out. Ours had a bar code. We could either manually enter the number or scan the bar code. I was on our iPad at the time and was able to use that to "scan" the bar code and then link the corresponding ticket to the appropriate person on our account.

When your magic bands come--they would then already be linked.

I imagine that since you bought in advance to get FP+, then you may have or will be doing this. So no need for guest services to "attach" the tix to the MBs.

Thanks ladies. Disney has gotten way too complicated with advanced FP etc. What happened to the good ole days? lol. I'll be there during cheerleading nationals and Im sure it will be a zoo. But it looks like we only have a few each hours in each park so we wont be needing many FPs. But thank you for the info on pre ordering idea to get advance ressies etc. Ill pass that along to some of the people we are going with.
