I have a few questions about the fitness classes. There are some that sound really interesting.

1. Are they free of charge?
2. Can anyone PUH-lease tell me when they are offered? (once a day, mornings, afternoons, certain days only etc.)

thanks!

yes the classes are free of charge

check the navigators to see when they are offered,

on our last four night
the spin classes were offered at 8a on the 2nd, 3rd,and 4th day
an ab class was offereed at 7a on the sea day

They are free. There used to be a lot more variety to the classes. Now, spinning is the big one. They used to have fitness ball classes, band classes, etc.

Ohhhh. Okay. So all the classes are normally first thing in the a.m.?
That's really too bad they don't have more variety. I like to change things up a lot.

You can take time and pay for a personal trainer. I did this and it was well worth the money. We spent and hour together at the begining of the trip and when I was working out on my own he would check in with me. He also wrote all the exercises down for me to use at home. Best work out ever!

Do you happen to remember the cost?

Thanks! :)

I want to say it was about $80 but I used my OBC for it so I really did not pay attention too much. They list them somewhere on the DCL web under the spa services when you are able to prebook excursions. I will try and see if I still have the infor to give you a better idea of what to plan.

Still wondering if anyone can tell me if they are all in the a.m. Please! Thanks!

do they still do yoga classes?

When we were on the Magic, there was a class first thing every morning that was either yoga based or pilates based. It was billed as a stretch class, so it was kind of a hybrid. They did it on the beach on CC day. I think it was a 7 am. It was a nice way to start the day.

I can't remember the timing of the other classes they offered, but if you pull up some recent navigators, they will be listed.

Thanks Cindy,
I have tried looking at navigators for the eastern but can only find really old ones. :(

The only yoga we had was yoga on the beach at CC. You met at the fitness center in the morning and left the ship as a group. A few people joined us a little later. The class lasted about 35-40 minutes before our last position..."Run for Cover" from the monsoon that started!

I see they offer (My wife is into those) yoga, spin, ab classes ect...

Do they have any Smith Machines, Adjustable Benchs, Weight Sets ect.. in the fitness center
