First timer asking some questions....

Hi all I am new to board and have a couple of questions. My friend and I are going week in October. HOw later are the parks open and do they show the late shows like Fantasmic and Illimanations then???? Also we would like to try some of the food at each of the countries but we don't want to buy a whole meal at each country, is there a way to buy small samples of some of the food of the different countries? Thanks all. Lol sorry also how is the weather in October???

Welcome to the board Cannonballer!
I don't have all the answers to your questions, but to help a little, here's a website that you can pull up menus to DW and see what they have and what the prices are.

Someone else might have a better one. Also the park hours aren't usually posted until closer to the month you are going. Most probably not until August or September will those hours be out.

Hopefully someone else here has some answers for you.

Now I haven't been in Oct. for about 4 years now so, I'll try to help out as much as I can.
Yes Fantasmic and Illuminations will be on during Oct. Illuminations is at park closing at 9pm. Fantasmic is usually at park closing. Check the link below for last years hours. The weather is usually comfortable, in the 80's. Little rain. Also I do believe the Food and Wine festival starts sometime in Oct. They have stands from different countries with samples of food from $1-$5.

I suggest that you look up the International food and wine festival that will be going on in Oct and plan your trip around it. also there will be Mickey not so scary halloween party nights all through october, you need special tickets for this and they sell out fast once they are available but let you go to MK late on those nights when it is closed to the general public. You need a ticket for each night you want to go that they offer it, you can wear costumes too if you wish for this.

It's our first trip to WDW as well in Oct

Were hopeing to get tickets to MNSSHP for 31ST, i know they sell out quickley does anybody know the phone number to call when they are put on sale.
