First time visit - main differences from WDW?

What is all this talk about DLR being space limited as a bad thing, ...

I'm not saying it's a bad thing, I'm just "managing expectations". I don't want our WDW friends to come in here expecting the vast distances between points of interest and being disappointed. That's not what DL is all about - it's more about the quality of the experience within the parks.

As a WDW CM, I love WDW of course. But I have been to DL twice with a third trip just a couple of weeks away. Both parks are great! They're different yet the same in certain respects. Things are changed just a bit between them. And that's the beauty of it. If they were the same parks, then why visit the other. I can't say if one is better than the other because that wouldn't be a fair judgement. I like both. Sure, Walt walked at DL, but the Magic does exist at WDW. You just have to experience both for yourself and make your own judgement. :earsgirl:
