So I have 11 banked points that will expire at the end of March. I can't think of anything to do with them, so do I just let them expire? Never had this situation in 18 years of ownership!

do you have points from next year you could borrow. I would talk to davids rental and see if they might be able to get rid of them quickly for you. You probably wont get full price, but maybe get a few bucks.

I do, but I'll need those points for next year. I'd have to borrow quite a chunk to even create a two night stay.

Or,,,, You could either rent them fast and cheap on the boards, or you could give them away to someone who's just a little short for a trip. They'll get used and you might even feel good about helping someone out.

I would but you can't transfer banked points, right? So there's no way to give them to others.

And I can't rent them because it would at least need to be one night, right?

You could book a night sometime...somewhere and give that away (let someone use the booking if you can't). I once saw someone post that they needed to do the same and they just booked a night and another Dis member had a son who was a CM at WDW and he stayed for that night (DVC member let him stay at no cost).

There are a bunch of weeknights in a studio at HHI available...for 10 points a night.

I had the same situation with 14 points. I have cousin who lives in Florida. I offered to book a night for him at AkV in a studio. He was thrilled and it made me feel good too!

If you can book a night, call Give the Kids the World. They may have a volunteer who can use a night as a little "reward" for their service.:thumbsup2We did that once.

I've never had this either...thanks for posting, should it happen. Great suggestions!
