First time road trip to WDW

This will be the first time we road trip to Disney. There are a total of 5 of us (3 Kids) and we are driving from Kansas City. Are goal is to leave early and make it to Macon GA....seemed like a good place to stop for the night. For anyone who has ever stopped there before, could you please suggest a good place to stay for the night. Thanks.

Hi, I checked out your post because we are planning on driving from NY to WDW 17hrs or so. Hoping weather ok there and back.

I looked up Macon, GA on google maps, then clicked on "search nearby" and typed in "hotel" in search area. I pasted the link here for you for Macon GA hotels. Hope it helps!!!!!
