First Time Cruiser - Honeymoon

I am going to be a first time cruiser in October 2005 for the 3 day land/4 day cruise. It is also going to be my Honeymoon ....

I was wondering if anyone had any good suggestions on what we shouldn't miss out on on the ship and if there was anything that would make the trip extra special for us being on our honeymoon !!

Make sure you eat at Palo!
Make yoru reservation right when you get on the ship so you do not miss out!
Wait, it there a Palo on that ship? I was on the Magic... well if there is one make sure you eat there!

I was worrying about eating at Palos because I didn't want to miss out on one of the other restaurants ..

Since you're on the 4-day, you'll repeat at one of the restaurants. You could try to go on one of those nights. My DH and I have yet to eat at Triton's because we could only get Palo on our Triton nights on the 3-day, but we have no regrets whatsoever. Be sure to tell the server that you're on your honeymoon!

Since you will be on the 4 day cruise, you can still eat at Palo and all of the other three restaurants. They only do the "show" in Animator's on the first night you dine there, so you probably don't want to miss that if you having a dining rotation that puts you in Animator's twice. I would probably try for the last night, since your rotation will put you in the same dining room you were in the first night.

thanks for the advice .. I didn't even think of the fact that there are three restaurants and four nights .. I will definetly try for Palos on the last night

Any other helpful tips about what to see and do while on the ship?

From the other reviews on the board - sounds like you should try the Romantic Escape at Sea package (I think thats what its called). It sounds like a really good and deal and very romantic
