First time booking FP+ today

Today is 30 days before our trip, so I jumped on MDE this morning to get started with FP+ As expected, there was no availability for A&E, 7DMT, or the parades.

On arrival day, we will only be getting to MK around dinner time, and I did get up FP+ for the 3 mountains that night, all right in a row (7-8, 8-9, 9-10).

I am wondering if we'll ever get to the 7DMT? Maybe one morning at rope drop we can get in standby - because I doubt we'll get a FP for it at this point. My kids don't need to see A&E, so I am not worried about that one.

I guess every day this week I'll be up early to try to get our FP secured for next month.

Think it's worth checking on these periodically to see if anything opens up? Or when they are gone, they are gone?

Definitely check back! People's plans change all the time. I already made our FP a couple weeks ago but was changing around times yesterday and saw an opening for A&E.

So definitely keep checking! Hopefully you will find one! Also, standby waits tend to be a little less right before park closing or during MSEP so if you can make it until then, you can always try to ride it at night.

I would like to meet some of the characters - especially the princesses because we have NEVER seen them. But my kids are kind of so-so about that stuff (the youngest is excited about it, but not my oldest - and the middle one follows the oldest one). So if I see A&E, I'll grab it - for me!

If it's the party of five in your signature, you might have luck trying groups of 3 and 2 and get overlapping return times.

Also, I've seen reports that the waits for SDMT are better at night - the closer to closing, the better.

We got in line at closing in May and it worked out great. It stated an 80 minute wait but it was less than 25! This will not work on party nights. I also have used this site and it does work to look for fastpasses. I helped a friend get A and E for her week in December.
