This summer we will be staying at OKW for the first time. Looking forward to no long hallways and even longer walks to the parking lot. Stretching points to cover 22 days in a studio. Does anyone have any suggestions about the best building or location? We'll have our car and love the idea of parking just outside our room. We have a couple of other questions. Are studios on all floors? What buildings are close to pools? Any help is greatly appreciated.
We counting down the days until we are "Going HOME"

Ooooh, 22 nights????? How neat. I think that studios are on all levels. We have only stayed on the 2nd floor of several buildings. Our favorite is 62, right across the street from the Hospitality House and the main pool. You really aren't too far from any pool since there are several of them.

We had our first visit home last month. My only suggestion for where to stay is where not. We were near the hospitality house building 11 and I while I loved the OKW I definately wouldn't stay in that area again. Due to visitors using Olivia's the parking was terrible. I would definatly pick a building no wear near the front.

We did ride arround and my DH said he would want to stay in a building near Old Turtle Road. Sorry don't know the numbers.

Have a wonderful time. OKW was beautiful. Our home is BWV but we will stay at OKW again.

We like to stay near the pool at Old Turtle Pond. I think it is buildings in the 40's. We once had a studio that was just across from the pool and it was great. There is a snack area at the pool that is open from about 10am to 5pm and the washers and dryers are next to the snack area. It is very quiet and parking is always available.

I'm writing this post from a OKW studio in building 38, near the Turtle Pond pool and snack bar. We own at BWV and booked this spur of the moment trip last month. I agree the walks are long at BWV, but the one thing I miss is the elevator. I pack one big suitcase for all of us, and bringing it up three flights of stairs was a work out for my very fit DH!

Have a great trip!

Wow, 22 days...that's my dream vacation. Someday, I hope.:D
Have a great time!

What's nice about Bldg 62,63, and 64 is that not only are they close to the HH, but they have an elevator. Helps when you have lots to move upstairs.

Here's another vote for the Old Turtle Pond pool area. Buildings #41, 42, or 43 are right there. The pool is nice, and having the snack bar there is great too.

We recently stayed at OKW for the first time too. We tried out all 4 pools while we were there. The main pool at the HH was most popular with my 2 nephews, and they liked the one by the Turtle Pond second best. The other two pools (one near bldgs. #55 and 56, and the other by #19 and 20) are smaller and don't have snack bars.

We loved OKW, and can't wait to go back! WOW - 22 nights! I'm jealous! Sounds like a wonderful, relaxing vacation. Have a terrific time!
