Will be staying February 2017, renting points, with DH and DD 4. Had hoped to stay at BCV again but BWV was more reasonable. It does look like a beautiful resort though. Any tips for first time visitors? The kiddie pool with the elephants looks cute and I look forward to getting morning coffee at Bellevue Lounge. Thank you!

I found out after our trip that there are lockers in the fitness center you can use. Would have been handy to know before we got there. We checked in early and our room wasn't ready. Would have been nice to store our things in a locker there until the pool opened.

The clubhouse is pretty great. You should check it out. It was helpful to be able to borrow a movie during the rain that lasted all day. :)

Also, when we arrived at 8am they had a continental type breakfast in the lobby. Not sure if that's there all the time but it was nice.

We really liked the pizza from the pizza window on the boardwalk.

The pillows/sheets for the pull out bed are stored inside the couch. That took us a little while to figure out. ;)

Ha ha. The same thing happened to us at BCV with the hideabed. Is the lobby the same as the Bellevue lounge?

The Bellevue Lounge is just past the lobby on the Boardwalk Inn side of the resort.

We like to spend a little time at the themed pool, but actually spend the majority of our pool time at the quiet pool. We have never had trouble finding chairs there at any time of the day, any time of the year. It's pretty easy to grab a table too, which might be nice if you want to get your 4 year old out of the sun for a bit. It's worth checking out both pools and then deciding which one you like best.

BWV is great you will love it! If you get a refillable mug refills are done at the Boardwalk bakery. They also have really nice baked goods. You can even just get plain rolls for $1each if you have your own sandwich stuff.

The Luna Park pool is great. At 4 your dd may or may not be entertained in the kiddie pool. But there are life jackets. Our 2 yo was wearing one floating herself in the big pool. She tried the slide twice and then was done. Plus the activities people are great at including all ages at the pool party.

Don't forget there is tons of dining all around, BCV, Swan and Dolphin.

It's quicker to get to DHS if you cut through the pool area instead of going out on the boardwalk.

You can get a great view of DHS fireworks from the top of the slide, or many pool view rooms. Biew rooms you can see illuminations or wishes from upper floors.

You don't have to go to the elevators to go outside. Look for the exit signs and stairs, we've found some great short cuts. You can't always get back in...but you can get out :)
