Just my wife and I snuck away for a long weekend to enjoy MouseFest last week. It was our first stay in a VWL Studio, and found it VERY comfortable, and loved the convenience of the kitchenette.

We had a very good trip, but my DW did lose a day to a stomach bug. :( Still, we made the best of things, and she was better in time to enjoy the WL Sleigh ride on our last night. It was very nice, and we really enjoyed it.

I've written a full trip report with lots of pictures, and posted it here:

VWL MouseFest Trip Report

Also, thanks for the newer pics of my "HOME"!LOL

Happy Holidays and Happy New Year!

LOL, I knew a DVCer would notice that! That was about the 8th try holding the camera WAY up over my head leaning out from the balcony! :teeth: If I dropped that camera, the DW would not be so dear to me!!!!

And my camera is a Minolta DiMage 5. I've really enjoyed it after getting used to its many functions. I was finally able to get a decent nighttime picture of the castle! ;)

Tagrel, I always enjoy reading your trip reports. We left VWL on the 7th, so we were there for a few days with you. How did your girls handle being left at home while you went to the world. DH and I have only taken one trip without our girls, and we went to Branson (Big Cedar Lodge to be exact). I'm not sure they would be too happy if they thought we were going to Disney without them.:) I'm glad you had a great time, and that Kristen only missed one day. Some folks around here are suffering for 4 to 5 days with the stomache flu. Thanks again for the report.

Thanks Erin! :)

Sorry we missed you at VWL! It was beautiful there, wasn't it?!

The girls knew we were going near WDW, and that we would be in Downtown Disney (to do some Christmas shopping) on the last day. We didn't dwell on the fact that we actually went into the parks... Now if we ARE on TV during the Christmas Parade, then we might have some 'splain-in to do! :teeth:

With all the meets we did, they would have actually been bored. And THEY were home sick while Kristen was sick as well! :( Leaving them home turned out for the best - although tough to do! We did really enjoy the 'adult' time for things like PI and such, but we love taking them to Disney too.

As to the stomach bug - thank goodness it was a 12 hour bug, (with another 12 hours needed to recover!). Kristen would not have MADE it, if she was THAT sick for 4 or 5 days! I snuck by with one tired and a bit queasy evening...

It was a great time, now if I can only talk Kristen into another December trip... Its tough for her to get off work.

What great shots you got. Great report. I especially loved all the different Mickies.

Thanks for sharing with us.

Great trip report and pictures!

I bet it was a shock to come home to regular winter temps after Fl. weather! I will have to try it sometime.:)

Thank you for the report and Merry Christmas!

Well, how about some e-Cards? :teeth: I've updated my site e-Cards to Christmas themed versions. You can even add some Christmas music!

Thanks for the great report!
It turns out your trip overlapped ours. I had my family with me, but made I a solo run to the Dolphin for the MegaMouseMeet. So sorry I didn't get to meet you! We will also be there Mousefest week next year, so maybe I can make up for it then.

We are thinking of trying to get VWL next year, so that part of your report was of particular interest.

Great pics, reports, and Christmas Cards!!:sunny:

Thanks for the e-cards. I guess I will be sending Christmas cards out after all.::yes::

Happy Holidays to you and your Family!
