Because there is a rash of Disney decisions being withheld on various trip and pre-trip reports -
You Know Who You Are- I will reveal what I've decided to get David for our anniversary.
Now you must remember that when I talked about our 15th anniversary NEXT year he is the one who mentioned Disney. This will be important for me to remind him of. He also has on several occasions indicated that he would like to go on a cruise. So what could be better than-
So for this anniversary I booked a WDW land and sea cruise. I was pricing it online and there just happens to be one that sails on our anniversary August 20th. I also found that one of the "secret" port hole rooms was available. So I pushed that book vacation button. Now David is still capable of dashing this plan, but I think that he will like the idea.
Here is my plan so far:
Take the RED EYE flight from Seattle to Orlando Friday August 14, arriving in WDW on Saturday August 15th. That is one day prior to our 4 days of our land part of our package. I want to stay that first night
at Animal Kingdom Lodge Club level. I wouldn't even plan on any parks that day, just hang out by the pool, etc. Then we could do the Sunrise Safari in the am, before moving over to Port Orleans River Side for our 4 land days. I picked PORS because it seemed the most romantic of the choices. I know I want to do a carriage ride one of the evenings we are there.
Then on the 20th we sail. We arrive back at port on the Sunday the 23rd. I then want to spend the next 2 nights at The Swan- with my educators rate it's the same as staying at a moderate.
We would then fly home on Tuesday August 23rd. The Disney logic behind those two extra days at the end is because it's cheaper to fly on Tuesdays.
Now I just have to come up with a really good way to present it to him on our Anniversary. Which is 2 weeks from tomorrow!
