"First rule of leadership, Princess...." ~Overdosing on Ice Cream

What a great TR, Chel. Enjoying it very much. Loooooooove the training. Hmmmm...wonder how we'd train for a cruise.
Looks like you all know how to have a lot of fun. This will be one entertaining report, I can tell.

I'm sorry for highjacking for a moment but I have to tell Kathy that the chip and dale eating a watermelon on your siggy made me burst out laughing! Sometimes something hits you just right and it's just great!

Loving your TR BTW!! I especially loved the Part about Cinderella and the panic'ed ADR moments.... BEEN THERE!

I don't want to go back to work either. I start Aug. 18th. :scared:

I just want to let you know that I am still reading your trip report and enjoying it.

Thanks!

Next chapter this weekend even if I have to ban myself until it's finished. The kids have their first football/cheer practice of the year.

More funnies... your TR cracks me up!

I love the fact that you took pictures of your Burger King chicken nuggets at the airport then forgot to snap photo's of your first REAL Disney meal! :rotfl:

GMTA... that's exactly what I did. :rolleyes1

Loving your style... BIGTIME. As I read through the various TR's and comment to my DH sitting next to me I have to distinguish between who's who of the people I'm laughing at (WITH!). You are "the clothes in the baggies lady" :rotfl2: Goodtimes....

:rotfl: The difference between me being in a good mood and me being irritated and pouting. I just shouldn't pout and then I would forget important things like taking pictures of food.

"It's not right for a woman to read. Soon she starts getting ideas...and thinking..." - Beauty and the Beast

It took just a few minutes and then we were called to pose for our group photo, which we didn't purchase, and to be seated. We were led to the same area we had been seated in before, but to a table across the room.

Everyone was very hungry and quickly went to fill their plates.

The food was hot and delicious once again! The Jungle Juice there was still wonderful despite being child friendly.

Not long after we began eating the characters started coming through. First Donald, I love how he has to hold the autograph book on his nose to sign it.

Then Mickey and Daisy.

IMG_6716.jpg

It really was great that we got to see Daisy so many times on this trip.

The parade was next, but none of the kids participated this time. Then Goofy was at our table for his picture and autograph session.

During breakfast Joey must have said a million times "Thank you mommy for letting us eat here again."

IMG_6720.jpg

While we waiting for our bill Daisy amused herself with a new found talent in napkin folding.

IMG_6734.jpg

We paid up and everyone used the restrooms before heading outside to wait for rope drop. We were the only ones out there and I made the kids go pose by stuff to show how empty it was.

Daisy quickly got bored with that and found a spot quite a bit away from us to read.

Then a native came out and started playing the drums, and we could see and hear the front park rope drop crowd moving towards us.

We were folded in with them in the rush to the Safari. I darted off and grabbed some Fast Passes and then we were all joined in the hurrying mob moving through the queue to the Safari jeeps.

We had hoped to see more animals out by going first thing in the morning, that was not to be though. Someone forgot to tell the animals. It was nice to be out on the safari in the morning light though.

Once back the children declined going on the Pangini trail, but did spend some time playing the drums before heading out of Africa.

That happened to us on the safari too!! First thing in the morning, and no animals.:sad2:

Glad you enjoyed breakfast! And too bad on the not so active animals in the morning. Our experience was the opposite. On our Dec 06 trip we went in the afternoon and didn't see all that much. In March we went early, like by 10, and we saw quite a bit. Guess it just depends on the day and their moods!

I'm sure it totally depends on the day and the luck of the draw how many animals and which ones you see. I just would love to see more giraffes and active lions!

Darned moody animals sleeping in. :sad2: What was it EMH the night before and they were all up late riding EE!!! Or maybe they were hung over from a nonchild friendly version of the jungle juice!

:lmao:

I am thinking of making a Tusker House ADR for our trip just because of your TR. Sounds so delicious. I'll have to call tomorrow and see if I can get in.

:thumbsup2 Excellent plan!

Sorry about the lack of animals. We had plenty on our Early morning. It really is just luck of the draw sometimes. And it is so wonderful that your children are so grateful. You have obviously raised them right. :thumbsup2

Don't you just love AK first thing in the morning and completely empty? You just can't beat it! That's too bad about not seeing any animals! Those drum photos are great -- they look like such cool rockstars!
