"First rule of leadership, Princess...." ~Overdosing on Ice Cream

Lovely pictures of an empty park! For my next trip I so need to do a pre-opening ressie!

Looking forward to the Tusker House take! popcorn::

How awesome that Disney closed AK to everyone but just your family!!:rotfl: Wonderful. Can't wait to read about breakfast.

I was a little behind in reading, been crazy here!
Your house is amazing!!!!!!! I envy the greenery and your wood floors!!!!:cutie:

i cant wait to read how your tusker breakfast went, i just changed my ADRs around yesterday so i could go to tusker house 8:15am woohoo! before the parks open! i too cant wait to walk in a empty park. :cool1:

You will have a great time! :thumbsup2

Oh we loved Tusker House! Hoepfully you did too. Prepark opening breakfasts rock. DHS needs to open one next

-Becca-

This is our repeat visit to Tusker House on our trip since we enjoyed it so much the first time.

DHS needs some other character dining period!

It brightens my day to see a WDW park so empty. I am so GLAD that we went with a prepark opening for Crystal Palace. :thumbsup2

I think a pre-park opening at Crystal Palace is one I want to try next time.

And I'd pick POFQ for a Mod. It is really lovely and peaceful and has a romantic element to it. You can do a carriage ride which would be very nice. And beignets. Not that beignets are romantic but they are delicious and a great sugar rush kind of way to start your day!

Allyson :)
:rotfl: Sounds wonderful!

I love all the silly pictures of everyone!!!

Our pre-park opening Tusker House was one of my favorite memories of our trip. Animal Kingdom is so peaceful and beautiful first thing in the morning!

It was very peaceful.

Your house is beautiful. The red accents are really nice too. I  all things red!

Thank you. :goodvibes

Yay Tusker House! We're going there on our AK day, but not early. It's an EMH night, so we're not starting till 10:15.

We did a late breakfast there are first time and it was wonderful.

Ok so I got al excite for an update and I was scrolling and scrolling and boom you left me hanging!!! I can't wait to read the next update.
Did you guys do a dinning plan? If so which one?

We were on the deluxe dining plan, which was way to much food, but very nice to be on.

I have a question about the coffee...I have seen people refer to "real" coffee in several TRs. Is there fake coffee at WDW? (I'm not a coffee drinker, so I have no idea about coffee!)

Disney serves Nescafe coffee which is disgusting. There are a few places to get real coffee around, but not many.

that is something we are definetly going to do when parker gets older, the morning breakfasts at hte parks, i think tha is a great idea to get some pics with noone in the parks.

It is nice to get pictures without a bunch of other people in the background.

Yes you should, they are very nice.

I totally forgot about you going once. Oh how little do I remember. Anyway I am hoping that they will open a Pixar character meal at DHS. It would be great, especially before the park opens. I guess they have the Playhouse Character Meal but that really doesn't work if your kids are over four.

A Pixar character meal would be fun. Can you imagine breakfast with the Incrdibles and Sully and Mike. That would be so much fun.

Great pictures of my favorite park. :lovestruc It makes me want an early morning ADR even though I'm not big on breakfast.

Great update!:thumbsup2 I thought that we were early to our bus stop each morning, but I think you guys had us beat!:rotfl: I agree that the early morning ADR'S are AWESOME! Nothing like walking through an empty park!:goodvibes

Great pictures.

ADRs before the park opens are the best.

I love how Daisy carries a book with her.

I'm not big on breakfast either, which is why I didn't schedule to many into our itinerary, and those that I did I scheduled for late and treated them like lunch. What I found out though is that my family can't do to many days in a row of donuts and fruit for breakfast. So next time I know to schedule an early breakfast adr every few days to keep them happy.

It's a great feeling! :thumbsup2

Well she didn't carry it, she had Aunt Pat do it.

I read quickly this morning and forgot to comment. I agree - nice to see people so cheery before the sun comes up. I am not sure my family will see that time of the morning. Y'all are quite ambitious.

Can't wait to read the rest!

We did go to bed sort of early the night before.

I think it's great that she READS while waiting. I wish more kids would do that.

What kind of books is she into?

Stupid teenage ones! :lmao: The equivalent to Sweet Valley High and Cheerleader series I read at her age. The Clique is the name of one of the series, I read a few of them, and lets just say they are not quality writing.

Has she read any books by Meg Cabot -- those are some of my favorite girly ones?

Also, has she read any of the "I Would Tell You That I Love You, But Then I'd Have to Kill You" books about the girls' spy school? Those are a little less mindless than the Clique ones.

Last night she was reading Nancy Drew.

Last night she was reading Nancy Drew.

:lmao: We all need a little Nancy and George and Bess once in awhile.

I am not doing much better on the adult reading front -- I guess we all need brain candy once in awhile and I always think it is better than watching television.

So I kind of feel like the little engine that could on your TR, slowly catching up!:lmao: :lmao:

I just wanted to comment on how COOL it was that your family got to open the park. What a magical experience. I love all the pictures that were taken too. Your gamble totally paid off big time!!!! :cool1: :cool1: Everyone looks so happy! That was reallly fun to read through.

Ok back to the middle...........

I know my reading this summer has consisted of the Twilight series, Disneyland UG, and rereading the Harry Potter series.
