First responder VS Emt

Which would you take? Is anyone on here either? I have NO instrest in medicine but am required to take one of them for my law enforcement degree. I am required to take first responder but I was thinking of taking EMT. My school will accept either since EMT is one up from first responder. Any advice would be good.

For law enforcement, first responder would be just fine. If it was the fire service you were interested in then I'd recomend the EMT course.

You may have no interest but since it will likely come in handy some day go with EMT.
