we need to stay on the first floor as our niece does not like elevators. We are staying in a deluxe studio. Does anyone have any experience with a first floor villa at GCV?

Thanks.

I had a first floor room facing east towards CA. I had a small patio and a lovely view of the woods, or what the woods would look like after a Disney landscaping team was finished! I think some of the first floor rooms have more traffic outside than others (such as the ones facing the pool or the barbecue area). The path outside my window had virtually no traffic. Here's a photo:

My view was similar to Suzanne's. My studio was accessible, so I can't review the usual set up. The resort is great and I loved the decor in the hotel. Last year was supposed to be our once in a blue moon trip to DL. We are going again this year, and again staying in the VGC. :sunny: It is so nice to be able to walk out of your hotel into a park!

Was it nice? What did you think of the villa?

I think the VGC Villas are great! Craftsman design. The studio will have a single sink outside the toilet/tub/shower room. A nice big closet, queen bed, pull out sofa bed and small kitchenette with microwave, coffee maker and toaster. I believe there are a couple of HA rooms on the ground floor and they would have a slightly different layout I think. It would probably be a large bathroom with the sink in there instead of just outside.

In case your requests aren't met, there are stairs that she could use.
