First Ever DISUnplugged Podcast Cruise Take Three

These are not good questions. First, I didn't have a tape measure with me, but if you would have asked for measurements before I went on the cruise, I could have asked someone there for help. Second, we upgraded at the port and had a suite with a different type of bed than in the staterooms so the measurements wouldn't have been correct. As for the cake, as previously mentioned, we upgraded at the port to a suite. Therefore, we got free treats everyday so ordering cake was the last thing on my mind. Sorry about that. Instead we had fresh fruit, cheese platters, appetizers, petite fours, Mickey bars, and cookies.

Fruit :crazy2:
Cheese Platters ::yes::
Appetizers :scratchin
Petit fours:thumbsup2
Mickey Bars:banana:
Cookies:smooth:

Any other info that you gathered while on recon?

First thing I do when I get to my room....call and order a cheese platter! Two of them!

Dropping in to say Hi :wave2:

Everyday I promise myself I am going to keep up with this thread and then by the time I get home from work I'm totally lost again it's such a hot thread!!! :goodvibes

I got our Disney Cruise line travel kit in the mail today. It was a booklet that told you about the cruise with the shore excursions, spa, dinig, $ deadline etc! I can't believe it will be here in less than 5 months so excited!

quick question is there a DVD player in the stateroom? it didnt mention this feature in the travel kit ....Thanks!

Anyone else get a packet today from DCL? It has a folder of all information about the cruise, the execursions, ect... - it's getting closer!!! :cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

Are you cruise newbies or Castaway Club members?

I don't get to go home until 10pm tonight!! Ack!!! :yay:

So here's something disturbing...

As you know, I was happily taking pictures of my flat friends in the hotel room. You saw the shot that I posted with the cup of Starbucks coffee, right? The only place in the room that I could set that shot up so that my flatties would stand up without assistance and was not in front of a mirror, was on the bathroom counter. So I set them up, take the picture, realize I'm running late so I hop in the shower. When i'm done with my quick shower, I fling open the shower curtain...

And staring right back at me were the Flatties!! :faint: :faint: :faint:

I had to close the bathroom door after that. :rotfl:

:scared1: :scared1: :scared1:

Only if you have a suite. If you get quarantined to your room for illness, they'll bring one in for you though.

Doesn't matter. Everyone should be getting these very soon as they come out approximately 5 months prior to the cruise.

I don't recall there being DVD's in the room on our last cruise....but we had portables. But for the life of me I can't remember. Of course they didn't have flat screens in the room on my last cruise either, so I'm betting they have DVD players now.

The Wonder does not have flat screens yet and probably won't before the Podcast cruise (this is slated for drydock next fall).

Do you mean we've acutally stumped Tracy??

Way to go Todd!!!!

I think in some parts of the world, we'd be married now...sharing a bed for so long and all.:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Does that mean I get a new ring?:thumbsup2

145 days until "Fun on a Boat!"

The letter in the DCL package says on Feb 24th all the excursions, Palo, spas, ect.... can be booked, and it can be done on the disney cruise line website. Can we log onto the disney website and book these things having booked w/a TA?

Yes, you can and you should do this. Again, it cannot be done until all payments are made in full.
