Morning all! We headed out into the snow early this morning for a scrumptious breakfast.

The "old glasses" pic gave me a thought. For those of us who were at MF, are we all bringing our DIS beads or lanyard on the cruise?

I think i'll be bringing my DIS Unplugged lanyard. I wish we could buy more of them...I'd like to get one for DH...not sure he'd wear it, but i'd like for him to have one just in case...and i'm not sure about bringing the beads yet...

Thanks for the compliments on my hair and glasses everyone! That's the way my hair was supposed to look at MF, but it had grown out too much by then. My hair grows fast. I'll have to cut it again before we go...

I'm still getting used to my glasses though. I like them, don't get me wrong, but i've always been of the mindset that redheads should NOT wear anything with silver tones to it. It's always made me look pale. I insisted on gold for my wedding rings because I thought platinum would make me look even more pale than I already am...It just catches me off guard when I happen to see my reflection.

But the best part of my new glasses...they came in one of the Tiffany blue boxes! I've never gotten anything from Tiffany's before!!

Hoping this is the first Tiffany box of many...

Bahamian ATM machines:

What are the banking hours and are there ATM's?

Banks are open Monday through Thursday from 9:30 a.m. through 3:00 or 4:00 p.m. and on Fridays most banks are open from 9:00 a.m. through 5:00 p.m. Many banks now offer ATM's that tender Bahamian dollars however there are a few, located in areas of tourism on the larger islands, which will advance US currency. ATM's are scarce in the out-islands.

ATM Machines
Most of the larger islands have ATMs located in airport terminals, branch banks, most casinos and other convenient locations. Most machines dispense local currency. Machines in casinos and at Rawson Square in Nassau dispense U.S. dollars.

Checks can only be cashed if they are drawn from a US bank. But currency can be exchanged at Guest Services.

I'm freaking out! I'm a POP girl. I can't believe we are spending this much on a room! I asked Paul if we could book a garden view room, thinking he'd say no. That's his job. I come up with a crazy idea and he says no. It balances my universe. Unfortunately, I forgot that he was mad at DD so his judgment was off. note to self, if I want something big, have DD misbehave.

So I called CRO and they only had garden view concierge with the military discount. I said no and then Paul said "Go ahead and book it."

I could buy a pair of Jimmy Choo's with that much money!

Paul is a very sweet guy from everything I've read. At least as it pertains to his family. (I will not ask questions about DAP, I will not as questions about DAP)

What did DD do? Other than normal teenager stuff? My DSis has 2 teenage DDs and a pre teen DD. My poor Sis and BIL. The biggest problem is DN #2 is an exact combo of our dearly departed father and our dearly departed grandmother (my mother's mother). I don't mean to say she is a PROBLEM, it is just Dad and Nana had extremely strong personalities. And they did not get along. So the fact that DN #2 is so much like the both of them is pretty funny and little scary. So just tell Paul you could have THREE DDs to deal with.

I was briefly contemplating renting more points to try and stay at either BCV or BWV for that night pre-cruise, but holy cannoli!!! 29 points for a Saturday night! EGADS!

Yep...we're staying at the DolFUN...lol...I only considered it because of ME. And that i'd probably get to ride over with lots of you guys since our flights seem to all come in at the same time...some of you people will get to meet my BFF face to face before I do!
