Okay...I've crawled out of my cave for just a few minutes and want to thank all you for your "well-wishes" about my new status as a DU Agent. I am super excited! It will take about 500 years to have the knowledge "AskTracy" has in one little finger -- but I'll get there.

Totally O/T:
I never did find my son an afro last night, but did luck out and find a really cool black tye-die looking Jimi Hendrix t-shirt at Target (of all places!), so he wore that and tied a bandana around his head. What his class did was really cool, they were called Suitcase Biographies. Basically each student got to choose their own subject, then they were required to do research and write a report.

In conjunction with it they had a classroom presentation where they had to dress like their character and bring in an old suitcase that had at least 15 "artifacts" that related to their subject. They set up long tables and each student had their suitcase open with the artifacts numbered, and stood behind the table as parents went from student to student asking how the artifacts were related to their subject and why they chose them.

They all turned out really great. I never got to do anything fun like that when I was in school!!!

Since we moved we haven't gotten back into it in a while, but I've done at least a half dozen or more books. I also did the snapfish and shutterfly books, one for a present on my wifes bday and there other for xmas for my inlaws and parents.

And yep...i'm a Gone With the Wind nut. Not nearly as bad as I used to be...but that was because I was not with my own personal Rhett! I was living out my fantasies of Rhett and Scarlett together during the time that DH and I were not together...once we reunited, while I still love everything GWTW, I'm not nearly as obsessed as I was before!



BTW...DH pegged me as Scarlett when we were teens. He's Rhett and I'm Scarlett


Savannah Blue just came to me when I was choosing my name for Mob Wars.

Apologies up front if I'm disrupting the flow of FB posts.

Set up Deb's new Tivo today and this thing is chock full of cool. I've got it hard wired into my network. Aside from a streaming Netflix to the TV, it has a podcast section. Plugged in my favorite podcast url and there it is. DISUnplugged on the big screen. All shows right there for the playing.

Also has a direct into YouTube. Could be a late night.
