My summary update--

We all will be wearing Black Bar Glasses over our eyes so we'll be as anonymous as John in the Cruise pics.:cool2:

Dr Ruth practices with ice cream cones? Ew. Madi (a "quiet one" ya gotta watch) made copies in High School of dirty Cosmo articles.;)

Many say start motion sickness remedies pre-cruise.

John (3GuysandaGal) is a well-trained DH. :flower3:

Don bought DISWife Brandie a sparkly Disco Bra, DH Matt approved and actually POSTED!!

We can look forward to Zumba and Belly Dancing demonstrations after I buy a couple of rounds.. :drinking1

ADP is a hugger. :scared1:

The cruise thread seems to be a way to also catch up on pertinent CHAT items... :thumbsup2

I only drink water or skim milk at home. Sometimes I buy Light Cranberry juice. When I'm out, I still drink water usually. My favorite soda is Root Beer. Love it. Only drink it when I go out though... and most places don't offer it. Never buy soda for home. Bad, bad, bad. DH on the other hand drinks sodas all night long. He's a Crown and 7-Up man at night and a Mountain Dew guy in the morning. I keep DD11 away from the stuff.

...also wondering how late a Brudda gotta stay up to get #3000!!! ;)

I know all too well how they can get. I created my own hullabaloo regarding saving tables at CS restaurants. If you wanna know my opinion, PM me. As for sodas in the mugs.... I always got hot chocolate in mine. It was freezing cold down there and I needed something to warm m' bones for the long trek back to our room.

Oh yes, the table saving threads. I have seen a few but did not post as things were getting pretty ugly. I am usually in WDW solo, so if I am going to eat counter service I will eat during the off times when the restaurants are less busy. This has solved my finding a table problem.

I wish I never started drinking soda. My BFF use to drink 2 two liters of Pepsi a day and she quit drinking it all together. I wish I could. The longest I have gone is a month.

Heres the poop on pop....

According to Wikipedia...

"The beginning of the diet soda or refreshment era was in 1952, when Kirsch Bottling in Brooklyn, New York launched a sugar free ginger ale called No-Cal. It was designed for diabetics, not dieters, and distribution remained local. Royal Crown Cola placed an announcement in an Atlanta newspaper in 1958 announcing a diet soda product, Diet Rite. In 1963, the Coca-Cola Company joined the diet soda market with Tab, which proved to be a huge success. Tab was originally sweetened with cyclamates and saccharin.

Tab, Diet Rite, and Fresca (a grapefruit-flavored soda introduced by Coca-Cola) were the only brand-name diet refreshments on the market until Pepsi released Diet Pepsi in the 1960s (initially as Patio Diet Cola). Coca-Cola countered by releasing Diet Coke in 1982. After the release of Diet Coke, Tab took a backseat on the Coca-Cola production lines; Diet Coke could be more easily identified by consumers as associated with Coca-Cola than Tab. Additionally, a study was released claiming that saccharin was a possible carcinogen, leading to Coca-Cola's decision to decrease production of Tab."

Ya learn something new everyday.

Thats why I come here.

:teacher:

:lmao:

By the way..

We could hit 200......

Just sayin'

Then again, thinking back, I dont remember a diet pop/soda as a kid.
I'm talkin '69-74.

When did "DIET" soda start?

I can remember mom playing cards with girlfriends on Wednesday nights. Probably 65 or so.

Tab and Fresca cans everywhere. :)
