First day Cabanas lunch buffet any different?

Is the lunch buffet at Cabanas on the first day of the cruise any different than the buffet on the other days? I heard somewhere that the first day's buffet has more types of food than the other days (though I might have heard incorrectly). If so then I don't want to miss it. But if that's wrong, and if every day has the same buffet food, then I can skip the buffet on the first day since it's so crowded.

It seems quite similar to me. But there are variations from day to day.

I'm sure that there are repeated items most days, but my understanding is that there's a different "theme" at Cabana's every day. (sea food, caribbean, etc)

But with so much food, I avoid Cabana's every day except for Embarkation Day. I eat too much for breakfast and dinner. So I just snack a little - Shwarma, wraps, desserts from cove cafe (free and GOOD).

and there's an exception to the exception - If on Panama Canal - I will go there for BBQ on Canal Transit Day - I've had some pretty good steak hot off of the BBQ and Tracy Arm Day (in the past at least) they have had killer salmon BBQ up on deck 9 (not necessarily in Cabanas)
