FIRM Check-In Week 25

FIRMIES!
Hooray, we made it to 25 weeks!
I had a good FIRM weekend. On Sat., it was CA&WT. I was inspired to do this workout because I learned, from the FirmBelievers Bd. that Emily has moved from Columbia & will no longer be a FIRM Master Instructor. She is an "AHE" (At Home Exerciser)
On Sun., it was Cardio Sculpt w/ Allie. This AM it was Body Sculpt Blaster w/ Nancy.
That's the good news, the bad news it that the scale show a 4-5 lb. weight gain. this AM. I had posted about a small weight gain last week & I had a challenging new WOE week: business dinner on Wed., a great-food wedding on Fri. & we treated ourselves to an old Sunday tradition "pasta on Sun". I knew something was up from the way my newest capri slack felt yesterday, but 4+ lbs. was a bit of a shock. This is the first serious gain I've had in Phase 3 & in over 2 years since I've adopted my new WOE. I think I'll just try to watch myself for the rest of Aug., which includes a 2 week vacation w/ a week at WDW. Then, in Sept., DH & I may return for 2 weeks of Phase 1.

Hey Sueg thanks for starting the thread. Let's start with how much I ate Fri and Sat. Not pretty. so Sunday was a firm rebirth. Didi super sculpt with Nancy (needaburger) and today was my karen voight tape.

Very interesting about Emily Walsh, that's too bad I really like the tape she leads.

I finally caught some of the new infomercial I can't wait to get a job so I can get the new dvd's. See you guys tomorrow.
 
Hello all. My eating this weekend was o.k., but with TOM, I had a bit of a sweet tooth :o Nothing to bad or off plan, just some low carb ice cream and not too much of it. Those sugar alcohols mess with my stomach.

Today was total sculpt plus abs.

Just wanted to pop in an give everyone a Way to Go:bounce: for your firming this week and last. My boss was out of town all last week which meant extra responsiblities for me. By the time I got home, all I could do was pull myself onto the treadmill and walk away some of the tension!

But the kids started school today Yeah! and since I have to get up early again, the new plan is 20 min of treadmill in the am , then a firm tape in the evening. I've done the treadmill today- so I'm half way done.:teeth: Wish me luck to keep this up!

Week 25, wow! Can you guys believe it?

This morning I was so sore and tired that all I could do was the ab portion of super body sculpt. I hope to do cardio sculpt blaster tonight.

Back to firming- last night was Cardio Sculpt with Allie- I really like this tape! I am getting better at all the footwork.

Up again early this am- got in 20 min on the treadmill.:D

This morning I did cardio sculpt blaster with Lisa Kay. Great 30 minute work out when you don't want to strain yourself too much. I think this one is getting too easy for me. Maybe I'll start using medium weights instead of the light weights and see if that bumps it up a bit for me.

This AM was Cardio Sculpt Blaster w/ Lisa Kay, my favorite workout. The rest of the good news is that yesterday's reported weight gain was worked its way back down to last week's 1-2 lb. gain. I knew something was up this weekend & it took 2 days for my system to right itself. I still have to address those 2 additional lbs., so that I can embark on vacation at "fighting weight". This will allow for some "slippage" during our trip, esp. at WDW. In less than two weeks, I'll be dining at the California Grille around the time of the fireworks at Magic Kingdom. All we have to do is survive the 4 days of college visits prior to our arrival in Orlando. So no rest day this week!
Hey, ZerasPride, I just read about your weight-loss milestone during your stay-off-the-scale challenge. As Lisa Kay says at the end of Ab Sculpt: "Way to go!" I just can't type it w/ her soft southern drawl.

This am was cardio sculpt with Allie. I finally caught the last ten minutes of the new information and I can't wait to get the new dvd's. I just have to get a job first!! Please post any reviews I'm dying to hear how everyone likes them.

Good morning Firmies!

I was a whimp this morning and slept in. DH and I were discussing finances late last night. I don't think we'll be doing that again at bedtime. I couldn't sleep for the longest time laying in bed worrying about money. Yuck! Anyway, I was physically and mentally tired so I slept in and feel rested but guilty. I hate to take a day off and will do super body sculpt tonight. I'm behind in my 1000 minute exercise challenge numbers so I need the 45 minute work out today. I'll be sure to post this evening after I have worked out.

sueg - cardio sculpt blaster is one of my favorite work outs too! It's getting a little easy for me though so I'm thinking about using medium weights instead of the light ones. Great job on your work out, I will be doing super body sculpt tonight. The planks are growing on me too! Thanks for celebrating my weight loss with me. 75 pounds down and 66 to go to get to goal! Woohoo!!!

s&k'smom - great job with your work out. Jen is tough. I usually try to avoid her body sculpt work out and do super body sculpt with Stephanie Corley. She is a bit kinder and gentler. :teeth:

Last night should have been Body Scuplt with Jennifer , but I was couldn't summon the strength! I agree with ya S&K's Mom- she is tough. So I just did Cardio Sculpt with Allie again. Much easier! LOL

Today I was up early again and did my 20 minutes on the treadmill.

My personal quest is no rest until vacation, which starts Tuesday afternoon, after DSs' physicals for school. (Nothing like waiting until the last minute!) This AM was Lower Body Sculpt I, which is one of my newest workouts. Not a favorite, i.e. 3 sets of leg press, but I did break a sweat.

Hey Lisa I know what you mean about worrying about finances, I was doing cardio sculpt blast this am with Lisa Kay and missed a few steps because my mind was wandering! Worry, worry, worry I really good at it.
 
Good morning Firmies!

I was supposed to do cardio sculpt blaster this morning but I wanted to do something a little different. I've been missing cardio sculpt with Allie from BSS1 so I did that for a little more than 30 minutes this morning. I probably won't make my 1000 minutes of exercise for August but it's fun trying!

I was happy that I was able to do so many manly man push ups on the floor. I know I can do them with the fanny lifter but it was neat to see how strong I am doing the floor work. Woohoo!!! I also took a chance and did the tricep kickbacks with 5 pound weights instead of the 3 pound weighs! Another woohoo!!! I feel so powerful this morning!

Good morning firmies!!! I didn't firm today, I went and did Cathe's kickboxing workout. I like working those other muscle groups. I'm still waitng for the new firm set. I wish those people would hurry up and get a move on:teeth:
