Hi guys and gals. My DH and I will be in Orlando for 4th of July weekend. We will be having dinner at the Flying Fish on July 4th. Do you know if you can see the fireworks from the boardwalk? Thank you so much for you help?

Can't really see any fireworks from the Boardwalk (maybe from some of the ROOMS in the Boardwalk...)

Head over by the Yacht club and you'll be able to see the tops of the fireworks.

You will be able to see the high fireworks portions of Illuminations, but that is a small portion of the show. You will not be able to see the globe, the fire or light effects or hear the music.

I don't recall being able to see any of the fireworks from the Boardwalk street level. I walked over to the bridge right before you turn to the right to get to the Int'l Gateway before I could see anything. It was a nice relaxing walk, though. Again, you're only seeing the fireworks and not the globe.

I've seen wishes from the boardwalk, at street level. They are in the direction of the yacht club. Obviously, just the high shots are visible and they are far away, but yes, they can be seen. I don't think it is worth a special trip over there to watch them, but if you happen to be there it is a nice bonus.

The high shots from Illuminations can be seen, I think the best spot is from near the YC marina. Again, just the high shots and no music, so it is better from inside epcot.

We will only be there for 2 days - Saturday July 4th and Sunday July 5th. We wanted to make this a non-park vacation weekend get away but the main reason for going on the 4th of July was to see the fireworks. I guess maybe we can just go to Epcot for fireworks. Wonder if I can get into Le Cellier for dinner on the 4th of July? Hmmmmm - doubt it. Thanks so much for your help.

Kind of - only the high ones. Walk down the the Swan Dolphin bridge (its a little uphill which gives you a better view).

Do they have fireworks at Epcot? I was thinking maybe we could walk from the boardwalk to Epcot after dinner at the Flying Fish and watch the fireworks? :confused3

IMO Epcot has the best fireworks in all of Disney. It is called illuminations and it is held nightly at 9:00. The walk from the FF to the international gateway of Epcot is at most 10 min. After dinner walk over grab a glass of Champagne in France and enjoy the show.

Hi B - that sounds great! I think that is exactly what we will do. I love those Grand Marnier slushies - YUM!

EPCOT has a firework show called Illumintaions, it is AMAZING. IMO its the best fireworks in disney and it cant be missed when your in WDW. The only think about illumintaions is the fireworks dont go very high and theres a lot going on without fireworks the can only be seen in EPCOT so Id suggest seeing it in the park

You can see some fireworks from the Boardwalk but not most of the show

Whenever we've had a Boardwalk view room it's been on the 5th floor and we've been able to see some of the higher fireworks. I've also been able to see the high fireworks from the Boardwalk over by Jellyrolls, and the moble piano player was playing his own soundtrack to go with the fireworks.

When I have stayed in boardwalk view rooms, I've seen fireworks from both MK and Epcot.

Just to clarify....Illuminations is not an all-fireworks show like Wishes. Fireworks make up a relatively small part of the show, most of which can only be seen from inside Epcot. There are only a few minutes worth of fireworks in the show, and only some of those can be seen from the Epcot resort area.

I just didn't want anyone to be expecting an experience like seeing Wishes from the Polynesian.

Illuminations is a terrific show, well worth seeing all of it in the park.

We have decided to have dinner at Flying Fish and then walk over to Epcot for the fireworks. Which is the best spot in Epcot to see Illuminations? Thank you so much for all of your help.
