Fireworks after the Luau??

Just made ressies for the 5:15 Poly Luau for end of September. According to the schedule, there will be MK fireworks at 8:00 that night. Will we have time to get to the Poly beach after the Luau to see the fireworks? Also, can they be seen from anywhere on the beach or is there a certain place better than another?

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!

I'd say you have plenty of time to get to the beach. Anywhere on the beach is good (it isn't a very big beach! LOL!). We watched them one night while swimming in the Poly pool! We were staying there - so no pool-hopping comments!

Thanks harambe! I wasn't sure how big the beach was or if there were any "obstructed" areas. I called WDW Dining back and they said the luau was about 2 hours long. I guess that gives me <i>plenty</i> of time to waddle down to the beach after that big meal!!
