Fire in MK?

Pictures of firetrucks on Main Street as well as ambulances are being posted to social media as I type this. Smoke reported in the area as well as guests reported to being pushed to Frontierland. That's all I know at this point. Please post if you know anything.

If they rolled firetrucks down Main Street, and they did; something serious is amiss.

I just saw on Facebook too. Came here to see if anyone knew anything. Seems no one really knows why they are rolling down Main Street. Hopefully no one is hurt

It’s all over twitter.. all the usual bloggers reporting.

Apparently Disney has now issued a statement saying “small fire, quickly extinguished” no other official details.

The evacuation was from Cinderella’s Royal Table and the area immediately around the castle. Smoke clearly visible toward the back of the castle, mostly on the left side when facing the castle from the hub.

Friends telling me now it was a small fire in the castle kitchen and it was put out by fire extinguishers before the trucks even arrived. Glad everything is good and everybody reportedly is safe.

It must have been something minor. Fireworks went off at 8 pm as usual.

Thank goodness all is well! Could you imagine if this happened with the firework crowds in the hub or on Main St.?

Some updated info seems to indicate the fire was outside in a mulch area and not in the restaurant

Still mostly speculation about cause. Original call stated electrical box while a firefighter speculated fireworks, even though the fire was an hour before the fireworks show.

On our trip in April, I saw a guy "sneaking" a cigarette in front of a bush near the castle. I'm curious what the investigation finds as the cause.
