Finished Booking at 7-month window...

Decided to head down from November 11th to November 21st, trying for a studio at the Boardwalk.

Standard views were all booked, but I had no problem booking pool/garden view going day by day.

On November 19th and 20th they were all booked, as was the Beach Club, so I waitlisted, while adding VWL. The 19th came through the day booked, now I'm just waiting for that last day. Hopefully it will happen.

Thanks for letting us know. I think that's a good "tweener" time to book between F&W and Thanksgiving while avoiding the long Thanksgiving weekend nights.

As you could tell, it got a little tougher the closer you got to Thanksgiving.

I'll be there the 13th through the 18th too! I switched day by day out of BC and got 4 out of 5 nights Boardwalk BW view and one night P/G view. Of course that one night is right smack in the middle of the trip, but I'll waitlist it out. If the waitlist doesn't come through I'll do 2 days boardwalk view, then 1 pool view, then two more days boardwalk view. Atleast I'm moving around in just one resort!

Just an update, the 20th came through today, so I will now be departing the day prior to Thanksgiving.

I did a day by day also moving from VWL to BCV. I was able to get 11/17-24, except for the Wed before Thanksgiving (still at VWL) and Thanksgiving, but did get that for cash. I'll have to move unless wait list comes through for the Wed but at we're choosing to look at it as just going to sleep at VWL for one night and the rest a BCV trip. We own at the VWL and love it but did it last year for the holidays and thought we'd walk to Epcot this year and enjoy the pool...letting someone else enjoy the wonderful holiday feeling at the Lodge. Here's hoping our one night comes through at BCV and someone will get the Wed before Thanksgiving at VWL from their waitlist!
