Any way of finding out what Site & Loop you have before you get there or is it all a surprise when you get there

I was wondering that too. I was hoping I would know before we get there. Kind of makes the trip seem more real. LOL

1) No advance info/notice.
2) Call it a surpirise.
3) At least that is what we tell guests.
4) We only know anywhere 2-4 days ahead of time your scheduled site.

When you make a loop request (wish), do you do that at any time after making a reservation? While it is all based on what is available, I am curious how often you happen to get your requested loop (for those who request regularly)? More than half the time? Almost all the time? Rarely? Tell me your experiences....

Almost all the time?

Our first time at the fort we didn't request any loop. We booked a Premium site and got loop 1400. It was nice to be close to the campfire, movie and pool, but we thought being closer to the Settlement and the boats would be nice. We started booking Preferred and requested loop 100. We have always been in loop 100 except once when we got a site in 200. That's probably 6 or 7 trips.

This is kind of cheating though since there are only 3 Preferred loops and 300 is a pet loop. So we kind of stack the deck in our favor. Or at least it is better odds than booking a Premium and hoping for loop 400.

We got our requested loop 7 times out of 8 visits...not bad! (And we could have had it all 8 times, but would have had to wait until later in the afternoon.)

In all our many trips we almost always have gotten our requested loop of 100. We always request that loop, plus we ask for a preferred non pet loop, so they have been 'very' good about honoring our requests. :woohoo:
