DH and I started our diet this week. We haven't exercised yet and that really bothers me because I know exercise is a huge part of getting healthy. How do you find time to do it?
We have a 6 month old son, I work full time, and I'm studying for the bar exam which I'm taking in Feb. We planned on walking around the neighborhood with DS, but it's still a bit chilly to do that with him, even here in Louisiana. I have exercise tapes that I did the first time I lost weight before my pregnancy, but I just don't have the engery when I get home from work. Plus, I have to study.
Do you think exercising on the weekends and then squeezing in at least once a week will be enough? I really want to loose this weight and just can't figure out how to squeeze in exercise!

My new years resolution was to make the time for myself. I have exercised the last three nights with a FIRM tape. I put it in any where between 8:50 to 9:15 pm, finish by 10:15. Not a perfect situation, but the best I can do this week. And I FORCE myself to do it. I feel quite proud of myself afterward too.
It will be a different kind of busy, but busy just the same. I figure I've got at least another 12 yrs of this and I'm not waiting till then to loose these extra pounds! Getting up early didn't work for me as I'm already up at 5:30 am and my body flat out refuses to get up any earlier. I have forgone TV time/reading/relaxation in the evenings to do this. But I feel it is important and I'm determined to loose it this time!
