Finding Nemo Observation Room

I read that there is an Observation Room for the Nemo ride for people who have trouble getting in and out of the submarine. Has anyone done this? I am wondering if you have to wait in line for this as well, and if they will allow people who aren't physically challenged.

You wait in the regular queue until the point where the CM asks how many in your party, then they send you over. If it's available right away you may wait a little less. If it's in use and/or there are parties ahead you may wait longer. I like to check if it's running before getting in line at all. Anyone can request it.

I've used it. I'm too claustrophobic to get in a sub. I didn know about it until I made a comment to the CM at the line entrance that I didnt know if I could ride because of claustrophobia. He opened the ropes for us, led me to the room and took DH and DD to the line. Not sure if they were sent to the front or not. But the observation room showed me what they were seeing and I was glad not to be stuck in the sub . I was the only one in there too.

I'm also claustrophobic and can't do that ride so I waited in line with my family and then when they got to us, they went their way and I was first in line for the viewing room. They then asked me if I minded if someone else joined me in there and I said sure. While I was in there I was still a little claustrophobic though!
