Anyone else dislike this ride and find it to be a waste? I enjoyed the aquatic displays after the ride and very much would rather skip the ride. We waited in line 30 minutes and was surprised that they actually made that a ride. It's 30 minutes that I'd like back.

I did not find it to be distasteful. Is it Everest? No. But that's what I like about WDW, something for all tastes, and all ages. I loved hearing the little kids in the clamshells hollar when they saw Nemo, and the technology was pretty cool. Doubt that it will hold my grown sons' attention, but when they were little they would have been very excited.

I agree. I waited in line for almost 45 minutes and for what? I mean the queue was better then the ride. The ride didn't even fit in with the movie, and all the sudden they are singing? i don't know what they were thinking.

hi
i thought it was poor too but couldn't see any other way to get in to see crush the turtle! then as we were exiting we saw people coming in that way!!

our DD4 and her cousin (2) absolutely loved it. best ride ever. we rode at least 4 times one day. so I think it is a perfect ride for the little guys who don't get as much fun stuff to do in Epcot.

I was just lurking and thought I would chime in. Seems like adults thought this was a waste. How about for 6&7 yo boys? Is it something they would enjoy? We'll be there in 10 days and had planned on checking it out.

We liked it when we went in January. However, we had no wait to get on- walked right into our clamshell!! I don't think I would wait more than 10-15 minutes tops, but I thought it was really cute.

I agree....nothing special at all. I thought it was way overrated. My DD3 and DS7 had absolutely no reaction after riding it and they usually get excited over the most simple things.

I have riden this ride twice now and have been disappointed each time. I thought it was just me, but my kids were able to ride it for the first time on Saturday, and they both said "That was it?" when they exited. There just isn't much to the ride.

For some reason my dd4 was scared by it. This is the only ride she is saying she will not go back on. I don't get it. I guess because it was dark. She had no fear in Test Track... Oh well:confused3

My whole family loves it. The projection of the characters in the water is really cool.

Keep in mind that this ride is focused towards toddlers and small children. Put it in perspective.

And if you still don't like it, just go in through the exit (makes the line shorter for everyone else!)

I was disappointed that they couldn't get the voices of the actors from the movie for it. :confused3 I'm sure there are a lot of good reasons why Disney didn't(money, etc.)

To me, it seemed cheap and second-rate without the real voices. I'm sure the Turtle Talk with Crush voice isn't the actual actor from the movie-but it is so close-I can't tell the difference. If they had to use substitutes for the Nemo ride-it would have been so much better if the voices were more like the actual actors voices.

If it hadn't been for the voice thing-I think it would have been a cute little amusing ride on pace with say-Malestrom in Norway or the Mexico boat ride.

I am an adult and thought this was a great ride. It kinda followed the movie, Nemo is lost again. I loved the EAC and all of the fish interactive scenes. We saw a Dolphin swim thourgh one of the scenes as we were almost to the end. In Epcot, where kids rides are few, this is a must see for a 6 and 7 year old. I have a DS10 and DD7. Here are my two very minor complaints. First, when the Nemo fish swim with the live ones, the animation is too good and bright. It's hard to believe they are in the same tank. Second, I can't get that song out of my head at the end of the ride. " It's a Big Blue World dah dah dah... Nice tie in to the show in Animal Kingdom.

i've been on this ride several times and I have no kids and i'm a 28 year old male. and I love it. This is one of the rides that represents what Disney is all about. magic and story telling. there is not a lot of frills but it just has something about it that works. and for the record for those who said that it doesn't keep up with themovie. it's not suppose to. The story is that these events happen after the movie, even though alot of them repeat.

Our family isn't very hard to please, but we didn't enjoy it. I definitely wouldn't wait in line to ride it. My DH, DS9 and I thought that it was boring. My DD3 wasn't impressed either. She even mentioned this past week that she didn't want to ride it again.

You can go ahead and put me in the list of people that really enjoyed the ride. My wife and I rode it 5 times on our trip to WDW this past October and can't wait to ride it again this December when we go. If you go in with high expectations you're going to be disappointed but if you look at it like Snow White's Scary Adventures or The Many Adventures of Winnie The Pooh you might be pleasently surprised.

Same here practically, Male 28 years old, enjoyed it as well.

First, it's important to note that the ride was already in place from years ago and the old Living Seas attraction and all you did back then was ride through the aquariums, not exactly exciting.

They used the same track but changed practically everything else in the ride and made it much more entertaining IMO. I do wish the overall attraction was more educational like the old Living Seas but the ride itself I enjoyed.
