is it any of your school's time for finals?? mine are next week and this year its stupid becuse they changed it now that you have to take finals in all your classes---you can't get exempt (spelling?) if you get an A in that class!!

Yeah shouldn't they be called midterms unless it's the end of the year? Calling them finals both times makes no sense unless it was a half year class.

whats the big deal? if you have an 'A' in the class you should do fine on the tests.

even though i am only in eighth grade. i'm in advanced math, so taking freshman algebra.

ours are gonna take like 49540984 days. but our teacher is cool and doens't really care.

Took finals in december.

They're called finals because they're the end of the 18 week semester. Because classes change (for example, if you need half a credit for two classes you flip over break) and so they are final exams.

My midyears start the week I get back from my cruise - meaning I will miss all the in-class review, which is really helpful to me! We are only exempt from FINALS (in June) when we are Seniors, if you have a B average the last 2 terms in that class. I wish you could be exempt from all exams at any grade... I would not be taking any! :sigh:

my finals were the week before christmas break. we have them again at the end of the year, which is really stupid because for all of your classes that are a year long, your test is over everything you learned through the whole year.

We have midterms toward the end of this month. Finals, I have no idea.
