Love the backpack we all fight over it - I claim it as I booked the cruise - most comfortable bag ever to me
DH likes sling bag he can have all of them I have my lovely backpack
Beach bag - hmm I’ve got like a hundred different ones - but my fav is the one I purchased on the ship made out of sail material I use that every day !!
I agree I would be happy to just be on a cruise 🏝

The nice one and the not so nice one but I only speak of the first one the nice one with the shoulder pads it’s super comfortable I have a spinal injury and I can comfortably wear it!! I really wish they would give that out again !! Got that one on our Alaska cruise which to me is still best cruise ever!!

I also agree with DisneYE that the Palo perk is a really great deal. I've also read that some were able to switch to to brunch which would be awesome!

We've been able to use the Palo credit for both brunch and dinner. It would be nice if DCL would give us the option of using that credit towards Remy, or the ice cream shop, or drinks or anything else for that matter.

I really like the first (bright blue) one, better than the later (rucksack style) one.

I'll take anything right now just to get back on the ships. We became platinum the moment we disembarked the Dream on January 17, 2020 and have not had the opportunity to enjoy it (3 canceled cruises and maybe another coming up).

We are in the same boat - waiting to sail as Platinum. Only one cancelled cruise so far, and fingers crossed for Oct.

I've just received word that they did not run out. There are still plenty of Castaway Club sling bags that DCL will be able to offer us when we return.

Ditto. We seldom book anything and have yet to use the Palo dinner. We went once when we took our adult children and their families on the cruise, didn't love it. Missed the main dinning room to be honest. Went for brunch once and again, didn't love it. It is not a selling point in our eyes. We are taking our children and families again next March and I have told them outright not to book Palo for us. Disney can keep that freebee.
You are very right, some people do obsess over the benefits. I've witnessed this in the groups I have been in. I'm happy to not be in competition for the items they want.

Never got the sling bag or backpack. We got that cruddy burlap swim bag though Hoping for the sling bag next time. We could probably use one. I never buy backpacks and don't get much swag from anything. I have some stupid string backpacks, but most of them are worthless and break pretty easily.
