It's is usually a quote from a post you make the tag fairy (who is the tag fairy that is a mystery I thinking someone in administration) will take a quote from your post and put it under your id/name in color for example mine says in red something about frog carries my school backpack. I posted this on another thread the tag fairy read it struck her/his fancy so she/he made it my tag. Did I explain that well or did I just confuse you more

You all just crack me up with this obsession with the tag fairy; everyone try’s so hard to come up with something “clever” so the tag fairy will give you a tag, why is it so important to have one? Then all the congratulations given when someone receives one, and all the begging for one, just doesn’t make sense to me, all this fuss. When you all mention how your spouses or family members don’t understand, I’m right there with them, and I’m a member of this board! Oh well, maybe someday I will get it :}

Yes, you'll lose your tag if you try to edit it, and you won't be able to get it back unless the Tag Fairy takes pity on you. Don't mess with the tags!!
