Wow, GREAT job! Look VERY nice. Will have to keep that one in mind.

I think that the rings are made from polystyrene Lesley and does'nt the effect look great:thumbsup2 i'm thinking of having a go making something like this next year:woohoo:
We say polystyrene & our american friend's call the same product stryo foam, if im wrong someone please correct me.

Hey come on Jill! We could nip out to Hobbycraft and have these done by the weekend! :lmao: The only problem is, the recently opened Hobbycraft(the only one in Scotland) is in THE busiest shopping centre at the minute.
The question is, just how BADLY do I NEED one of those Mickey Door Wreaths!
Maybe I could make it tomorrow before the schools break up. Watch this space.....
Have you seen the glitter Mickey head bauble that some others have been making? Fabulous

Lesley i've seen the mickey dec's on the trees & like you love them. :goodvibes
Let me know if you manage to make one before christmas liked liked to see it.:)
Don't think i will have time to do one before christmas got to much to do this weekend. I'm sad to have to say that carafting not on the to do list this weekend:sad2:
Have a good christmas Jill:santa:

hey, I actually wrapped the ribbon around the straw rings. just left the plastic on them and wrapped. maggie

Nice idea of using straw rings also . If you already have some that are a little tatty looking instead of throwing them away reuse them for this :goodvibes
Thankyou for the ideas that are now buzzing around my head:rotfl:

That's funny, I looked out some straw rings that I had but could only find enough for head and ONE ear!! How frustrating! I'm sure theres more in the loft somewhere.

Anyway, when I tried to wrap my wired ribbon around it , it kept slipping into the grooves. :sad2: Need to get to Hobbycraft for those polystyrene rings.
