Finally a Disney Visa Double Rewards Offer!

By the way - depending on where you live - there is a Disney store in the Mall of NH in Manchester - it may be closer than the Pheasant Lane if you actually live in Salem - much easier to just hop up 93! We were there about a week ago - they are having a huge clearance sale - not a great variety of stock - but lots of little girls clothes - my daughter was thrilled. Also quite a few toys were on sale, as well as most of the little souvenir type stuff in the middle - Mickey antenna toppers, etc.! They do sell park passes if that's what you are looking for.

My offer was for $100 also. I dont think its right to offer everyone different amounts. I did ask the rep about Disney Dollars and they said yes you can get them they are not excluded. Also in the offer one of the other posters post it does not state they are excluded.

That is weird how they are offering different amounts to spend! $50, $75 and $100 so far. I am glad I got $75 but of course $50 is the best:) Does not seem very fair.

Play like never before at our TWO NEW stores – Opening Late Summer: Lakewood Center, Lakewood, CA – The Mall in Columbia, Columbia, MD

Just an FYI in case anyone was wondering, these are remodels and not new stores.

i have not heard anything about this in my most recent bill, but I will can to get the scoop! I could buy some DD$$ for my upcoming trip. I usually charge them anyway.

As to whether or not park passes or DD$$ would be an eligible purchase, this is usually not the case when the promotion is a Disney Store promotion. The freebies (ie free tickets to see Nemo, etc) is good when you purchase up to a specific amount of store product (pre-tax, post discount). It's a store promo. This thing with the Bank One Visa card sounds different, as it is a Bank One promo, and not a DS one. :D

They're not offered to me either. I called Bank One and spent several hours on the internet site on several different days trying to find the info. For the first time today i was able to find the Disney Merchandise to click on, and .... at last.... there was NOTHING! Bummer :(

My offer was for $50....i checked on line under "current offers".I am very close to a DS.....I ask CM about passes and she said that was ok to purchase....

I don't think I got it either, and I could really use more points...

I just looked online too and I don't see this offer. :(

There were 3 offers under "Disney Merchandise":
Disney Movie Club, Disney Magazine Subscription, Disney Princess CD-ROm Games

Maybe the offer depends on where you live ... or how you use your card ... or if you maintain a balance ... or if your name ends in a Y. ;)

Debbie

hehe, but I have the ending in Y!! Great answer for it though, that's how it sounds....very random...and we definitely have a disney store here, so it's not that...

Thanks for the heads up! DH and I are going to get our AP vouchers before the offer expires!

oh - btw....mine said $75 minimum purchase as well.....

Those of you that didn't receive the offer or are getting the $75 or $100 offer, are you cardholders that got in under the deadline for Day 1 recognition? If not, that might be part of the problem. The $50 limit might be reserved for those who are members since Day 1.

Also, any of you DVC members? I received the $50 offer and I was in under the Day 1 designation, and I am a DVC member. Maybe this is one of the DVC perks we are going to get?

Brian

and was one of the first to get a card. I wonder if this promotion is for those that have gotten the card but have not used it yet very much and/or at all?

I just checked my offers and mine is for $50.00 or more. My card is a Day 1 member but not sure if that makes a difference in what is offered. I know a few months ago people were getting different discount offers for WDW vacations so I guess the offers vary by cardholder or cardholder groups?

this is really frustrating me as I have over $900 in park passes to purchase. Can't believe that some got nothing as far as this promotion is concerned. I've called and emailed to no avail. Any suggestions????

I have the $100 limit and am a day 1 cardholder and have used my card alot, so I'm not sure how BankOne is determinining the limits. Maybe it's based upon the different credit limits -- i.e., the higher the credit limit, the more you need to spend (I have no idea how my credit limit compares to others).

Or, each cardholder counted off in a row, '1', '2', '3', and all the '1's got $50 and the '2's got $75... although I don't remember doing that!

Hi,

I am also a Day 1 person and my limit is $50.

I use my card bunches to get points for an up coming trip. When you make your purchases at the Disney Store, you have to put your charges on your Disney Visa. I would guess when you make your charges, they know your "limit" by your card number????? Sounds too intelligent to me...

I am a Day 1 ,DVC member and have charged several thousand dollars on my disney visa.... still no offer! Maybe it's regional? I live in Oregon.

Alabama here and no offer. Trying to not get too mad here about this.
