Film:scared1: I know. Does anyone still use film at Disney? I just bought a film SLR and its on its way to me and was wondering does anyone in this day of digital still use film? I am getting it for the most part for B&W photography as i love the look of it and was toying with the idea of bringing it for B&W at disney if I am any good with film by Nov that is :lmao:

Not since 2005, but I did recently buy a roll of film for my very, very old Nikon EM circa 1980. I've used half of the roll, but I keep forgetting to take it out and use the rest of the film. ;)

B&h has tons of film in their catalog...i'm thinking of using it if i can find a processor. I just still like the look of b&w film better

takes it we are an all digital world here. well thanks for looking

I bought a used F100 last year to try out film shooting to see if I liked it. I intended to shoot just B&W. After 7 months I think I put 3 rolls through it. It's a shame, as the camera is in awesome shape and just wonderful to use. However, I have a feeling that I will soon be getting rid of it as I am trying to save up for a D300... :thumbsup2

I still have my Canon EOS1 film camera but have not used it in about three years. :confused3 I keep saying that I am going to buy some infared film to take to WDW but I have just not done it. :sad2:

I just got out our old Canon Rebel and found some leftover film in the camera bag. I put it in to give it a try for fun. But I don't think I would take it to Disney World. I like seeing if the pics are turning out with digital.

and yes, some people still use film at Disney, my Mom did. She refuses to go digital.

I still have the Canon F1 here, and want to use it badly. But, then I see the 30D sitting there, so innocent and pure, and I give the nod to digital. Maybe, someday...

Well, I did take my old K1000 on my last WDW trip (for b/w and fisheye photos) and did enjoy using it a lot - there is a "feel" to using an older all-mechanical camera that cannot be duplicated with today's all-singing all-dancing DSLRs. I put a roll of film through my father's (or grandfather's?) old '50s Kodak rangefinder last summer and had fun (just local photos), but I don't know that I would bother bringing it to Disney.

I have thought about bringing the K1000 again just to use up a roll of b/w 3200 ISO film I have, but I doubt I will on this trip. I have a ton of film sitting in a box in the basement that'll probably never be used... most of it is basic Kodak Gold 200 and 400 ISO.

Unless I stumble across a nice rangefinder for dirt cheap one of these days, but that's unlikely. :)

I have never used infra red film, what are the effects like?

Kim

I shot a couple rolls of Ectachrome slide film in Telluride last year.
I just love the colors you get with slide film :thumbsup2
