Along these same lines, my fidelity contract went to ROFR on 2/24. I checked on Wednesday, via email, saying "just checking in to see if you've heard anything". The response, in no uncertain terms, was "Disney is taking the full 30 days on all contracts, you should hear something next week." I responded and said, "I have been reading the ROFR thread on the disboards, and there have been many of late finding out in 20-25 days." The response I got to that was, "Well with out contracts it's been taking the full 30 days".
I suspect that, reading between the lines, Fidelity is taking the full 30 days to inform people. In other words, even if my contract is out of ROFR and sitting on their desk, they aren't going to get to me until 30 days. I chalk this up to being one of the anticipated pitfalls of buying resale, and I will still take the 30% discount on my points in exchange for a little frustration.
