OH MY I HAVE CHILLS READING THIS!!!!!!!!
Binny - Phoresnuf - and others I have a question for you:
Can you think back to when your symptoms started? Were they not constant?
For the past 4 years now this muscle weakness hits me in the fall and lasts until December (2 months or so) and then I "pop" right out of it. I was SURE I had fibro but as others mentioned my doctor does not want to be quick and "label" that as it could interfere with medical benefits. I live in Vermont so it happens each fall - when the cooler air moves in?? Almost like a seasonal disorder. However, I read about the pressure points and that is exactly where I hurt.
Reading your posts my eyes were popping out of my head

I was in two automobile accidents where my car was totalled (not my fault

) and I had whiplash from each accident. The second one I was stopped to make a left turn in a small sports type car and was hit from behind by a truck which police believed was going 50 mph!! OUCH.
Also, when I was very young (age 8-14) I remember my legs aching so. Again, happened in the winter when it was cold and I would be by our woodstove. I would stand up and shake them because they ached. Someone else mentioned this in their post!
I'd appreciate your input as to when your symptoms started. Each year around October I wonder if it will happen again. And then there it is...this past Fall it was very mild which is weird because we had an extremely mild fall here in Vermont.
Thanks everyone!! What a great thread!!
