We are planning to renew our vows in 2008 (our 20th anniversary), and DH and I were discussing colors. We agreed upon doing black/red colors in honor of Disney. Since my MOH does not look good in red I was thinking of having her and my DD (bridesmaid) wear black tea length dresses and hold red roses. A comment was made "do you think that would look too funeraly", I don't think so but would love some advise on it. The guys will be wearing black tuxes with red ties (full ties not bow), I am planning on having a dress that is white with red accents on it.
Another idea I had was having my FG (DNi who will be 4) wear a minnie mouse dress with the little patent minnie shoes, no ears. I think she would be adorable coming down the aisle and she will stay in the black/red theme.
Anyone done something like this? Or what are your thoughts.

My sister was initially going to do red and black, but due to her dh thinking it would look like a vampire wedding (don't know why-but that's his take on it.) She went with different shades of pink and black. So us girls were in black, with our pink flowers--it looks very elegant!
